SUNDAY SERVICES SUSPENDED
As we journey through this Lenten season, we enter a new "normal." After much
prayer and wrestling, we have decided that it was in the best interests of our
New Life Community to suspend our worship services for two Sundays, March 15th
and March 22nd. In the wake of the growing health challenges presented by the
Coronavirus-19, we want to keep everyone safe and healthy. We are following
the guidance of the CDC and our local authorities to keep everyone, especially
the most vulnerable safe.
However, the Pastoral staff wants you to know that we are here for you and any
needs that may arise. Please do not hesitate to call, email or text the church's staff (staff email). We
encourage you to take this time to pray and meditate. Last week I shared
about the importance of meditation and creating space for God. Especially
during stressful and uncertain times, it is important to be still. As we
travel along our faith journey, we must slow down, be quiet, and open all our
senses to the moving of God’s Spirit. “Be still and know that I am
God.” I like how The Message translates this verse, “Step out of the
traffic! Take a long, loving look at me, your High God” (Psalm 46:10)
